GREEN WITH ENVY is a set of planters that made out of banner materials. Living in metro cities, we saw excessive amount of usage on banner materials for advertisements.
Banners are being printed out easily by one-click under the advanced technology. To reduce the wastage we are producing everyday, upcycling them is the best solution. By adopting the structural folding technique of pleated skirt, the banner materials can create different forms without any supports. The ripples pattern became the key feature throughout the whole set. It is then being sow together to form the planter. No adhesive glue are needed which can achieve 100% degradable. This folding technique can also avoid the miss-uasge of companies logos and trademarks as it breakdowns the graphics on the original piece of banner.
The planters are suitable for indoor plants which need very little hydration to survive. The planters can come in with the plant as a whole which means you do not need to have an extra fancy planter just for good looking.
