2022 is the year of tiger, it is also a year of perseverance, after two years of Covid situation, yet, we still keep fighting it. We wanted to create a red packets that can cheer up and give support to our neighbourhood. The idea of the "是虎也是甜 Bittersweet" Red Packets was then created.


Tiger pronounced as same as bitter in Chinese. Although the new year will have bitterness, but there are also happiness. It is the bittersweet that creates our memorable life! The red packet design used bubble textured paper that looks like tangerine peel, bon appétit! The tiger behind is awakening you for a good start of the year!


The packaging design is inspired by Japanese premium fruit packaging that people buy it for gift during Chinese New Year. It gives a joyful and festive feeling.


The photography are taken from the famous wholesale fruit market in Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong, to leverage the whole idea of the sweetness.


It is a project that is design and made in Hong Kong to support and embrace the local economy under the covid situation. Limited to 100 sets.
